Last week i repaired my old Gravis gamepad. It had a broken cable. To fix it, i bought a joystick extension cable as replacement. Because the new cable was a bit thicker, i had to modify the casing of the gamepad. The modifications are not visible from the outside.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI need your help.
I have 3 gravis pc gamepad (gameport) without cables. I found 3 new gravis pc gamepad cables but they have different cable to board connector. So I bought crimp housing and terminals(harwin m22-3020400 and m22-3050046) but I cannot crimp them. Crimp tool is very expensive (200 euro) and I can't do that with pliers ( too small and I am not that good).
The pad board has an horizontal 8 pin male header 4x2 rows 2mm pitch obviously.
Any advice?
I can provide pics of everything and an email address.
Any help would be appreciated, I don't want to throw them away they're very good especially for retrogaming, but I can't spend too much either, considering on ebay an used pad would cost 10-20 euro shipping included.
Thanks in advance
Best Regards
